About Us

Local, Family-Oriented Import Car Repair

Welcome to Precision Imports! We’re an independent import auto repair shop in Milaca, MN. Our team serves the entire central Minnesota area, from Brainerd to Elk River, St. Cloud to Hinckley. Owners Tony and Jennifer Ringham grew up in Milaca and established their business here, growing with the community and staying connected to our long-time customers.

Precision Imports started in 2006 inside Tony and Jennifer’s three-car garage, working on imports and Sprinter vans. In 2015, we opened a brand new facility: still in Milaca, still giving the same excellent service and providing our customers an even better experience when visiting our shop.

When you work with Precision Imports, you’ll receive a free loaner car, along with after-hours drop-off and pick-up. We keep our rates very competitive, our shop clean, and our work efficient. We fix your import car right the first time.

Precision Imports Team

Tony Ringham

Tony Ringham

Prior to opening Precision Imports in 2006, Tony attended Universal Technical Institute in Chicago where he graduated first in his class. He also finished first in his class at the Mercedes-Benz Star certification graduate program. As owner, service writer, and shop manager, Tony has a lot on his plate.

Since Precision Imports started out with just Tony on staff, he's very proud of the growth, the customer relationships, and the great attitude and knowledge of his technicians. Communication and connection (besides being mechanically gifted) have been key to their success.

In his free time, Tony enjoys reading WWII history, current affairs, and other books, along with enjoying an occasional glass of whiskey at the lake with friends and family.

Jennifer Ringham

Jennifer Ringham

The one, the only, Jennifer Ringham joined Precision Imports in 2018. As a small business owner, she wears many hats - owner, service writer, parts manager, workflow specialist, car porter, marketing director, and more.

Jennifer is proud of the smart and capable crew they've assembled at Precision Imports. Self-motivated, self-directing team members who repair import vehicles right the first time are a testament to their leadership. Precision Imports has grown steadily and rapidly since 2018, expanding training while creating better organization and processes.

In her free time, Jennifer reads books, listens to podcasts, enjoys some exercise, and spends time with her friends and family.

Ben Maclean

Ben Maclean

Ben Maclean a.k.a. "Cook" has been with Precision Imports since 2014. Starting from the ground up, Ben has learned everything from the school of hard knocks (and his training at Anoka Tech). From Audi/Volkswagen 2.0 timing repairs to customer service, Ben has mastered so much in his time.

Ben likes working with Tony and Jennifer, and the new systems they've put in place to track the progress of projects. In the future, he plans to attend more training courses for import auto repair.

With a house on the way (Summer 2022), Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, two-year-old son, or playing the piano.

Sean Hansen

Sean Hansen

Since he was a kid, Sean Hansen has been wrenching imports. He joined Precision Imports in 2021. From diagnostics to the final fix, Sean enjoys the entire process of import auto repair.

With a team he gets along with, Sean is glad to work at Precision Imports. A believer in karma, Sean puts out the energy he'd like to see come back to him.

Sean is an instructor and (nearly) a black belt of Kempo - an all-inclusive martial art focused on practical survival. In his free time, he enjoys being with his happy family at home.

Jesse Sanborn

Jesse Sanborn

For more than thirty years, Jesse Sanborn has been in an auto shop turning wrenches. He recently hung up his tools and took his expertise to Precision Imports as a service writer. The customers love trusting Jesse’s knowledge and experiencing his outgoing personality.

Jesse enjoys the professionalism of the team at Precision Imports and forming personal relationships with his customers. He is married with three adult children and one still at home. In Jesse’s free time, he enjoys playing guitar in his church band and doing anything fish related - from kayaking and fishing to taking care of his saltwater aquarium.
